Unique, time-controlled codes are automatically generated in the cloud service through integration with, for example, booking or work order systems. The system generates the code based on the booked or approved time period, ensuring that access is only granted when it is to be used. Codes can also be created manually by an authorized person in Telkey Manager, if necessary.

Prior to arrival, the user receives a text message or email with a link to a digital code card. The message is sent automatically at a preset time or depending on other factors, such as when the booking has been paid for. No app needs to be downloaded, which minimizes hassle. Of course, there is also a manual option via text message or email. In addition, the code card can be shared in any channel via the link or with a QR code between two mobile phones.

Once there, the user opens their code card directly in the browser and sees all valid codes for their stay, such as for the entrance, room, and ski storage. The code is simply entered into the lock to open it, and the code card can be easily shared with the rest of the booked group via a link..

For regular users, such as cleaners, technicians, or property owners, there is the Telkey app for opening the lock via Bluetooth.
